Haiti Politics - New Pro-Martelly Parliamentarian Block "G5 and Allies" formed in the Senate

A new Haiti Senate block called "G5 and Allies formed" Tuesday 17 June 2014 dedicated to give full support to the Martelly-Lamothe government... The Senate has proven itself as a constant bottleneck when it comes to making decisions to move Haiti forward... Tout lajounen se pale anpil epi anyen pap regle... What will this new G5 and Allies bring to reduce that bottleneck?

G5 consists of the following Senators: Wencesclass Lambert, Edwin Zenny, Jean Willy Jean-Baptiste, Derex Pierre-Louis and Lucas St-Vil.

What is G5 and allies?

Wencesclas Lambert says, this block has been put together to "support the administrative actions of the Martelly-Lamothe government."

The allies are other senators who are not at the fore front but are on board, so to speak...

Lambert continues...

"We will support the Martelly-Lamothe government in all the progress it is making in the country, the politics it is applying to ensure change in our society, the alleviation of misery in our society, employment opportunies and infrastructure projects. G5 & allies will also support the draft legislations the government send to the senate.

We believe in what the government is doing and we have put together this block to support it."
