New Haiti Elections Poll - Jude Celestin Trails Mirlande Manigat By Less Than One Percent

There are some new poll numbers out for the Haiti presidential elections. Mirlande Manigat is in the lead at 23.2 percent and Jude Celestin is right behind her at 22.5 percent.

These are the numbers for "likely voters" the Miami Herald says...

What do you mean likely voters?

The herald quoted Reginald Boulos in saying that "The people who are for Celestin are more likely to go vote for him than the people who say they are for Manigat."

This latest poll, sponsored by the Economic forum (of which Reginal Boulos is chairman), is "a national poll of 6,000 Haitians" that began Oct 13 and ended Oct 20

One more thing...

According the poll (and the herald), If the elections scheduled for Nov. 28 were held today, Preval's INITE platform would win the majority of 11 seats up for grabs in the Senate

Mrs >Manigat does not deserve to be anything in Haiti.
