Michel Martelly and Wyclef Criticized For Participating In A Demonstration Today

After the closing of the voting booths in Haiti, candidate Michel Martelly and Wyclef Jean were spotted in a demonstration in Port-au-Prince Haiti. Candidate Garaudy Laguerre was interviewed in a radio station later in the evening and expressed his disappointment especially at Wyclef for his involvement.

"En tête de la manifestation, le chanteur Michel Martelly, l'un des favoris des sondages, se tenait sur le toit d'une voiture, aux côtés de Wyclef Jean" says AFP via Radio Caraibes

Translation: Leading the demonstration, the singer Michel Martelly, a favorite of the polls, stood on the roof of a car, along with Wyclef Jean

Presidential Candidate Garaudy Laguerre says he saw on television what he believes was an expression of celebration out in the streets of Port-au-Prince with Wyclef at the helm and he was not very happy about it.[bb]

This is just a part of an extensive interview he gave to a radio station in Port-au-Princee[bb]

Garaudy Laguerre is one of the 13 presidential candidate who called for the cancellation of the Haiti November 28 presidential elections.[bb]
