Former Haiti PM Yvon Neptune in court Friday to see Judge Lamarre Belizaire
Yvon Neptune is one of 7 people under judicial investigation for embezzlement of public funds, corruption and illicit drug trafficking.
According to news reports, Neptune went to see the judge with a one witness (temoin) and no lawyers for a Q&A meeting that lasted about three hours.
What was discussed? Neptune did not say... He did not say much to the press neither. However, Neptune made it clear to the press that, as a citizen, it is his duty to show up in court if a judge wants to talk to him...
When asked if he had any advice for former President Aristide who is in the same boat, the former Prime Minister said nothing.
Wha do you think about that?
