Depending on the rate of exchange to the US dollar which was around 10 to 1 usd when I was there a few months ago these workers are making about $100 usd a month.

And you wonder why US industry wants to have factories in developing countries.

They continue to make billions on the backs of the Haitian population so that we can purchase cheap goods while people go hungry.

As long as we continue to support the Walmarts, Targets etc. the staus quo will remain the same.
