Haiti - Armed Gunmen attack Charlito Baker's Political Party Director

Charles Henry Baker is pointing his finger at president Rene Preval and his candidate Jude Celestin for a recent attack on the life of Guirlene Cottin executive director of the political party RESPE.

Late last week, the private residence of Charlito Baker's party director was attacked by individuals heavily armed and wearing ski masks.

Haiti's Radio Vision 2000 report that this attack would be against Mrs Cottin because of his political affiliation.

Guirlene's husband Andre Lafontant Joseph told the press that Jude Celestin's name was mentioned by the armed gunmen in the middle of the act.

Charles Henry Baker stresses that the majority of the Haitian people are questioning President Preval's commitment to hold free, fair and democratic elections, with strong participation and without intimidation.

President Rene Preval I am feeling today at the paroxism of sadness due to such horrible and most detestable news. I have great admiration for both you and Charles Henry Baker according to my mother's words from her heart.

It's horrible and very ugly. Politics is like the lottery, you can win or you can lose. VIOLANCE to me is uncivilized.

I love you and I love Mr, Baker because we are Haitians, Do you want me to CRY, to be SAD, Stop the VIOLENCE.

I truly believe that this man Baker with God help may be the answer Haiti has been looking for. I hope Hillary Clinton say something about Preval and his gangs who are doing everything and anything to steal the election.

Haitian people need to wake up and smell the coffee.

It is time for them to vote with their heart and not sale their vote for penny...

Baker is not popular in Haiti and he has the control of all gangs in Haiti and no one will take chance to shoot on him. He can get Preval dead if he wants.

He controls all Haitian gangs in Haiti and he can go anywhere in Haiti.

Baker has the control of all the confiscated Haitian guns from the old army and he can get Preval out of power if he wants.

Obvisously, Preval and Jude Celtestin are trying anyting possible to steal the election from Baker.

Baker is the front candidate and they are nervous about him. At this point, I think Baker is the real change Haiti needs.
