Haiti Senate is dysfunctional. There are only 10 senators and Joseph Lambert is president of whatever's left.

Lambert can be seen here shaking hands with prime minister Ariel Henry.

Is this a genuine smile? Well I don't know.

Lambert wanted to be provisional president of Haiti following the assassination of President jovenel Moise on July 7th 2021.

He was chosen by his peers to assume the position of provisional president; however, let's just say there's been complications.

Joseph Lambert is an agronomist, graduate of the Faculté d'Agronomie de Damien and former director of the Ecole Moyenne de l'Agriculture.

Joseph Lambert loves politics. He tried and faild many times but he tried again. Lambert is a former Depute of the 45th législature.

After being depute, he became an ASEC for the communal section of Cap-Rouge before being elected Senator of the Republic in 2006 under the banner of his new Political party Konbit Sidès. He was reelected Senator again in 2015 and his political party became known as Konbit National.

Joseph Lambert became the president of the Senate both times that he was elected Senator.

"Don't Touch Me! How dare you touch me!", Senator Joseph Lambert said to a journalist tring to question him in the midst of a fight at the Senate while he was trying to protect appointed prime minister Jean Michel Lapin from the claws of the senators of the opposition.
