Haitian Senator Joseph Lambert tweeted about his medical tweet to the Dominican Republic.

Senator Lamber tweets:

I'm doing pretty well. Unlike the rumors. I left the Haitian capital last Friday. Like every year, I do a full checkup of my health.

The senator received a lot of criticism about his medical trip. Here are just some of them:

I'm glad you see the rest of the people who do not have the means to travel cannot get their health checked. If the money was well spent you would've checked your health in Haiti. Anyway, I am happy you're ok senator!

Even for a medical checkup you have to go elsewhere, I think a heart attack will not give you enough time to fly... Shame to you Mister Senator

Haiti Senate President Joseph Lambert in the Dominican Republic for medical reasons

Rumors spread on Social Media Haitian Senate president Joseph Lambert was rushed to the hospital in the Dominican Republic after he had a heart attack during a meeting with President Jovenel Moise. While Senator Lambert denies the rumors in a tweet Monday, he did admit, he is in the Dominican Republic for a medical check up. [ read more ]
