If you think Duvalier should not be prosecuted and Martely can be an extension of his politics, I assume it can only because you are too young, or have been too protected from the reality of Duvalier, and of Haiti going back to Duvalierism.

To let Duvalier off is to make the statement that it doesn't matter what terrible things he did to thousands of people, so it is OK for Martely to do what he wants, like build another army and get away from dual citizenship.

Presidents--none of them--are not above the law.
