Haiti presidential candidate Mirlande Manigat planned to end her campaign with a bang last night in the city of Croix-Des-Bouquets but things didn't happen as she expected.
Her big night was spoiled my Michel Martelly supporters...
Not in a violent way but...
well...
here is what was reported...
One of the 'ti machann' who was an eyewitness at the Croix-Des-Bouquets public square near the 'Eglise Notre Dame' where the event took place told a Haitian Radio reporter
34;li mande population pou ki moun nou pral vote...
Yo reponn 'Tet Kale' Nimewo 8 la...
Epi yo fe sign 8 ak men yo.."
Translation: She [Manigat] asked the population who are you going to vote for?
they answered 'tet kale' [Martelly], then they made the number 8 sign with their hands.
When she could not contain the crowd, Mirlande Manigat got up and left, another man said.
I don't think this was very polite on the side of the Martelly supporters in Croix-des-Bouquets but one thing is for sure...
This was not the craziest thing that happened in Haiti yesterday!
M'ale papa! Haaaaaaaaa!
