Dear Madame, I was moved too after reading your response to Mr. Aliteiri.

Its refreshing to know that the word of God touches your heart.

Out of respect to you I'm going to take a few minutes to respond to your post. Just as you did previously, it will be benefitial to share it with your family too. From Genesis to Revelation, tne Holy Bible contains many relevant stories that we can learn from today.

Earlier Mr. Altieri shared with us Saul's story, the transformation that occured in his life on his way to Damascus.

Frankly it hard to compare Paul's story to Micky who becomes Martelly.

from the account we learn that Apostle Paul was very zealous, committed to the cause he was defending.

in Micky's case when reading his life story, watching his video interviews and perfomances we see a man who is committed to making money by degrading women, stripping in public, cursing, smoking crack, deceit, manipulation.

On education he said that he hates books, he attended several institutions but never completed anything, been kick out of the Haitian Army for lack of discipline, his alledge affiliation with drug dealers, death saquad, his arrests in NY and FL ect. all these details are available on the internet.

By the way the most serious things are not yet published on the web. Ron's wrote that Paul's life changed when he saw the light, good but what does that have to do with Micky?

Again in Micky's case its different, Mr. Martelly said in a recent interview that a group encouraged him to run for president.

At first he was reluctant, and then agreed.

Because of his past record his people have to hire a Spanish Public Relation firm, Sociologists and a few advisors to "dress him up" create a new person.

Enough said about Micky-Martelly let's go into the spiritual insight; If i were to choos a title for my theological relection it would be Haiti Demands a President.

The original story is found in 1 Samuel Chapter 8: Israel demand a King
When Samuel grew old, he appointed his sons as judges over Israel.

His first born was Joel and the second was Abijah.

They were judges in Beersheba.

However, his sons did not walk in his ways-they turned toward dishonest gain, took bribes, and pervert justice.

So all the elders of Israel gathered together and went to Samuel at Ramah and said to him, Look, you are old, and your sons do not follow your example, Therefore, appoint a king to judge us the same as all the other nation have. when they said "Give us a king to judge us" Samuel considered their demand sinful, so he prayed to the LORD, but the LORD told him, "Listen to the people and everything they say to you. They have not rejecting you, they have rejected Me as as their king. They are doing the same thing to you that they did to Me since the day i brought them out of Egypt until this day, abandoning Me and worshiping other gods. Listen to them, but you must solemly warn them and tell them about the rights of the king will rule over them" Samuel told all the LORD's words to the people who were asking for a king. He said, "These are the rights of the king who will rule over you; He can take your sons and put them to his use in his chariots, on his horses, or running in front of his chariots.

He can appoint them for use as commanders of thousands of fifties, to plow his ground or reap his harvest, or to make his weapons of war or the equipment for his chariots.

...

He went on with warning that you can read from verse 1 to 18. In verse 19 we read, The people refused to listen to Samuel, "No!" they said, " We must have have a king over us. There's nothing new under the sun, throughout history people have been emotional and bias. Today, we witnessing the same thing over this forum although Micky did all this disparaging things publicly, some people are going out of their ways to justify his misdeeds over a lady who is competent with no criminal background.

Many find her too old, too black.

The young man has life, good looking never mind his foolish behavior.

I like Martelly, God will forgive him he asks for forginess, but you can't teach new trick to an old dog! Isn't sad to read some of the reckless comments posted.

Its ok to like someone, but we must be objective.

in the law enforcement community they say" You do the crime you pay the price" ts as simple as that, Jesus offers salvation to criminals, any people have met Christ while incacerated.

we must encourage our kids to be careful for their actions will follow them later in life. we need to be real, wake up people; criminals are criminals regardless of their social statuts.

You understand why they hire Sociologists to play with the minds of the weaks among us. In Creole they say "Pitit Mal
