New Jovenel Haiti Government could be "lave men siye ate" without a political agreement, PHTK leader said

Line Balthazar, leader of PHTK political party, warns president Jovenel Moise about the formation of a new government without a political accord.

Mr Balthazar, also a counselor to president Jovenel, urged the president to form a government on the basis of an inclusive political agreement and to choose a consensus prime minister who can solve the political problems shaking the country.

Note: after the second Monday of January 2020, it is very likely that Jovenel Moise will lead the country by decree (diriger par décret) since parliement will be disfunctional.

Colombe Emilie Jessy Menos, for Tourism Minister
Renald Luberice, Secretary General of the council of ministers
Liné Sainphaar Balthazar, President of Parti Haitien Tet Kale (PHTK)
Jude Charles Faustin, President Jovenel's advisor
Jean Rodolphe Joazile, Former Senator, former Defense Minister

Haiti in Crisis - Core Group met with Haitian political party leaders in secret meeting

After meeting with various members of the opposition, The Core Group met certain political party leaders including two former candidates for president of Haiti in a secret meeting Wednesday.

Here is the list of the political leaders who were present:

Eric Jn Baptiste, RDNP
Liné Balthazard, PHTK
Clarens Renois, UNIR-Haiti
Jean Gué, Platform VERITE

After the meeting, one of the participants in the meeting told Haitian newspaper Le Nouvelliste:

Palais National Haiti, Wilson Laleau is OUT of the door, 16 presidential counselors dismissed

Haitian president Jovenel Moise did a serious clean up around him by getting rid of his Chief of Staff Wilson Laleau and his Secretaire Generale Yves Germain Joseph whose names are linked to PetroCaribe. 16 other known cabinet members including Ardouin Zéphirin and Guichard Doré are dismissed.

In a presidential order (arrêté presidentiel) dated October 22, 2018, President Jovenel Moïse chose businessman Nahomme Dorvil as Chief of Staff. Dorvil replaces Wilson Laleau.
