Haitian opposition leader Andre Michel who wants nothing more than for President Jovenel Moise to step down keeps repeating: "Nothing is above the will of the people, not even the Constitution!"
What is a Constitution?
A constitution is an aggregate of fundamental principles, a set or rules or established precedents that constitute the legal basis of a polity, organization or other type of entity, and commonly determine how that entity is to be governed.
A constitution is the basic law of a country.
So what is the intention of Andre Michel, an attorney at law, when he says nothing is above the will of the people, not even the Constitution?
