Two years since President Jovenel Moise was burried his murderers are still free, former first lady said

Former first lady Martine Moise reminds the Haitian people that 2 years to the date after the burial of her late husband, President Jovenel Moise, the assassins responsible for this crime still go unpunished

"23 July 2023, this is a difficult day," the the former first lady said.

"It's been two years since the funeral of President Jovenel Moise and his murderers are still out there."

Allthough the justice system is not working in Haiti to punish those who assassinated the president in July 7th 2021, the former first lady knows that her husband did not die in vain.

Home of Fanmi Lavalas' Pasha Vorbe attacked by armed bandits Sunday

Haitian political party Fanmi Lavalas is complaining because armed bandits attacked the home of Pasha Vorbe, one of the top leaders.

No details were given as to what happened but Fanmi Lavalas, the political party of ex president Jean Bertrand Aristide, released a note complaining about what happened.

More homicide reported by UN in Haiti in 2019

The United Nations has reported a 42% increase in the number of homicides that took place in Haiti in 2019.

In a report submitted by U.N. secretary general Antonio Gutierrez to the Security Council, he mentioned in sharp increase criminality in Haiti.

According to the report, kidnapping has gone up in Haiti in 2019. Robbery in homicide has also gone up.

Haiti Gang Leader swears to kill the lawmaker who put him in the life of crime

Artibonite Haiti -- Haitian Depute Prophane Victor is in trouble after a gang leader in the Artibonite known as Odma promise on live radio he will terminate the life the depute he says put him the life of crime he is in.

The gang leader from Savien said live on Haiti radio station Depute Prophane took him while he was in "philo" (the last academic year before finishing high school in Haiti) and placed a weapon in his hands. Odma said ever since, his life was over. He swore on his mother and father live on Radio Zenith FM Tuesday he will end the life of the Depute.

Haiti Homicide - An employee of the Prime Minister's office shot and killed in Carrefour

A Haitian government employee assigned to the communications bureau of the Prime Minister's office was shot and killed in the night of 5-6 May 2019 by armed individuals circulating in Carrefour, South or Port-au-Prince.

Ridchy Cayo was shot in the back and was trasported to the hospital where he subsequently died.

Saint Marc Haiti -- The residence of Haitian judge Dieunel lumerant, the judge who arested former police chief Godson Orelus in connection with illegal gun trafficking, was riddled with bullets by unknown assailants, heavily armed, early Friday morning, November 30 2018 around 2:00am

In an interview given to Radio Caraibes FM admitted he had to take cover because bullets was flying into his residence for 5 to 10 minutes.

The assailants aimed directly for the bedroom window of the judge. The vehicle of Judge Lumerant was filled with bullet holes.

A Police Woman Murdered in Haiti

Croix-des-Bouquets Haiti - Another Haitian police officer, Alsshama Toussaint, was murdered this morning, Tuesday.

The police woman, an agent of the Brigade d'intervention motorisée (BIM) was attacked by armed individuals riding on motorcycles in Meyer, Croix-des-Bouquets while she was in her vehicle on her way to work.

Officer Alsshama Toussaint died on the spot.

Nearly half dozen Haitian police officers have been murdered this month of October alone.
