The elections held throughout the country since the end of the dictatorship of the Duvaliers prove it.
The population still elects an outsider to the post of President of the Republic at the expense of political leaders active in the field.
The cohabitation between an outsider president and the so-called traditional political leaders is always problematic. Hence, one of the causes of the political instability that the country has been experiencing since the fall of the Duvaliers.

Question: If the so called political leaders in Haiti say they are fighting for the people, they why is it the the people never vote any one of them ot become president of Haiti?
