Haiti Senator Andris Riche asks CEP to extend Elections Registration Deadlines once again
Haitian Senate president Andris Riche believes the Electoral Council (CEP) should prolong the candidate registration deadline past Thursday so more candidates can register.

Senator Riche said Tuesday there are many people city mayors who are still waiting for the superior court of auditors (La Cour Supérieure des Comptes et du Contentieux Administratif - CSC/CA) to give them a clearance certificate so they can run for Depute. it looks that they may not get them in time because ...
Many of these candidates will have to go back to their home provinces to register should they get a "decharge" from CSC/CA. Will they have enough time to register by 11:59pm Thursday?
Senator Riche things extending registration until Sunday will be better for the court and the candidates.
