Some Senators in Haiti refuse to accept the fact that their terms have expired

There is a new commotion in Haiti regarding Senators whose terms have expired who are in disbelief and they do not want to accept that fact.

Three Senators have decided to go to court to fight over a January 13 tweet from the president of the Republic, Jovenel Moise, stating that two thirds of the Senate terms were expired.

These senators, Jean Renel Sénatus, Jean-Marie Salomon and Dieupie Chérubin disapprove of the President's tweet.

They want the court to disapprove the comments of the president so that hoping that 19 senators instead of 10 remains in the Senate.

The three senators ask the court to declare the president's decision illegal under the 2015 electoral decree.
