Samir Handal arrested in Turkey in connection with assassination of president Jovenel Moise
I failed to report to you that Samir Handal, a rich businessman from Haiti, was arrested and Istanbul Turkey Monday for his involvement in the July assassination of Haitian president Jovenel Moise.

This arrest came after Haitian foreign minister Claude Joseph contacted his Turkish counterpart, Mevlut Cavusoglu, to alert him that the Samir Handal, is suspect of great interest, was on a plane from United States and traveling through turkey to Jordan.
Samir Handal has been held in Istanbul after court officials issued a 40-day custody order, the Associated Press reported.
We are certain that Haitian authorities will sick Handal's extradition so he can answer questions to the justice system for the assassination of President Jovenel Moise of which he is a "suspect of great interest," Minister Claude Joseph said
