The man is filthy rich in Haiti, he is considered a "suspect of great interest" in the July 7th assassination of Haitian president Jovenel Moise and he is proof that these people can do whatever they want in Haiti to enrich themselves, including assassinate the president, and as soon as the s*** hits the fan they can escape and go live there other lives until Haitians forget and then deck on back to do the country more harm.

Samir Handal was arrested in Turkey in connection to the assassination of Haiti president Jovenel Moise

I failed to report to you that Samir Handal, a rich businessman from Haiti, was arrested and Istanbul Turkey Monday for his involvement in the July assassination of Haitian president Jovenel Moise.

This arrest came after Haitian foreign minister Claude Joseph contacted his Turkish counterpart, Mevlut Cavusoglu, to alert him that the Samir Handal, is suspect of great interest, was on a plane from United States and traveling through turkey to Jordan.

Samir Handal has been held in Istanbul after court officials issued a 40-day custody order, the Associated Press reported.

Dominican president Luis Abinader has decided to suspend the visa renewal program for Haitian students on Dominican territory to show how mad he is about a tweet from Haiti foreign minister Claude Joseph.

Just because Haitian foreign minister Claude Joseph reminded president Abinader that there are crimes happening in Dominican Republic just as they are crimes happening in Haiti, the Dominican president took it out on the poor Haitian students.

"What is being said is that there will be no automatic renewal and that must be verified because I have to protect this country," the president said at a press conference.

That being said, anyone who's lived in the Dominican Republic knows that they are a lot of criminal activities happening on the other side of the island. The Dominican Republic's governing body does a great job at keeping the news local instead of on international news pages of the Washington Post and the New York Times like Haiti is doing so well right now.
