New Jovenel Haiti Government could be "lave men siye atè" without a political agreement, PHTK leader said

Line Balthazar, leader of PHTK political party, warns president Jovenel Moise about the formation of a new government without a political accord.

Mr Balthazar, also a counselor to president Jovenel, urged the president to form a government on the basis of an inclusive political agreement and to choose a consensus prime minister who can solve the political problems shaking the country.

Note: after the second Monday of January 2020, it is very likely that Jovenel Moise will lead the country by decree (diriger par décret) since parliement will be disfunctional.

"It would be a mistake for the president to believe that he can change the country alone without a consensus, without a political agreement," Balthazar said.

Not only does he warn the president about seeking an inclusive political agreement, he also added that it will be a big mistake if the new government is incapable of solving the complex problems of Haiti. "Lave men siye atè," he puts it in Haitian Creole
