Several weapons of war, handguns, ammunition and a sum of money were confiscated on the scene of the arrest of former depute Arnel Bélizaire
The former depute and seven others were arrested at a hotel in Jacmel in the early morning hours of Saturday, November 30 2019.
Early Saturday, Arnel Belizaire was transferred by helicopter to the Haitian capital.
Arnel Bélizaire is accused of conspiring against state security (complot contre la sûreté de l'État) after threats against the US embassy in Haiti, educational institutions and some private companies.
