Here is what former La Gonave Depute Beguens Theus told Haiti Radio Caraibes early Friday morning:

MOCHRENA candidate Mike Fenelon was on his way to register as a candidate for the first circumscription of Port-au-Prince along with his sister Guirlande Petit-Frere when they were attacked by armed gunmen.

The sister was shot and the documents were stolen. The sister was rushed to Bernard Mevs Hospital but she did not survive.
