Rapport PetroCaribe Haiti: There will be NO Political Persecutions while as long as I am President, Jovenel Moise says
By persecution, president Jovenel is referring to the famous PetroCaribe report which, according to him, is a tool being used to persecute former Haitian government officials.
"While I'm president, I will not accept people to use their position to do political persecution in the country. That will not happen! Lavalas or Tèt kale, the country belongs to everyone, "launched Jovenel Moise to the applause of several hundred participants at the meeting with the Haitian Diaspora in Paris.
"For this question of report, I stand as one man, there will be no injustice in the country," Jovenel Moise said. He denounced a kind of practice that aims to tarnish people's reputation. "Nou pa ka ap asasinen moun tou vivan," he taunted, according to Le Nouvelliste.

Lors de son voyage en Europe, le président Jovenel Moise a déclaré à la diaspora haïtienne à Paris tant qu'il sera président, qu'il n'y aura pas de persécutions politiques dans le pays.
Par la persécution, le président Jovenel fait référence au fameux rapport PetroCaribe qui, selon lui, est un outil utilisé pour persécuter les anciens fonctionnaires du gouvernement haïtien.
"Tant que je suis président, je n'accepterai pas les gens à utiliser leur position à faire de la persécution politique dans le pays. Cela n'arrivera pas! Lavalas ou Tèt kale, le pays appartient à tous", a lancé Jovenel Moise aux applaudissements de plusieurs centaines de participants à la rencontre avec la diaspora
