Former first lady Martine Moise reminds the Haitian people that 2 years to the date after the burial of her late husband, President Jovenel Moise, the assassins responsible for this crime still go unpunished

"23 July 2023, this is a difficult day," the the former first lady said.

"It's been two years since the funeral of President Jovenel Moise and his murderers are still out there."

Allthough the justice system is not working in Haiti to punish those who assassinated the president in July 7th 2021, the former first lady knows that her husband did not die in vain.

I am kind of reading in between the lines here reading Patrick Gaspard's recent message on Twitter where he takes a big bite out the ass of Haitian prime minister Ariel Henry.

On 13 July 2023 former Haitian-American US ambassador to South Africa Patrick Gaspard shared and op-ed from The New York Times on twitter titled: "the US can still do what's right for Haiti." And with it, he posted the following tweet:

"There is still time for Washington to change course. it is long past time the US stopped propping up unpopular political leaders, especially those implicated in unsolved murders."

Rodolphe Jaar, confessed to having helped finance and plan the plot to assassinate Haiti President Jovenel Moise

Haitian businessman Rodolphe Jaar was the first to receive a sentence in Florida USA for his involvement in the assassination of Haitian president Jovenel Moise. Rodolphe Jaar will spend the rest of this life behind bars.

This maximum sentence was handed down to him by a judge in Miami, the first sentence of many handed down in what the authorities say was a sprawling plot, the New York Times reports.

While the United States, where the assassination plot was concocted, is the first to convict a suspect linked to the assassination, in Haiti still there's no justice for president Jovenel Moise.

On Thursday October 21 2021, Judge Gary Orelien was attacked by unknown assailants at Delmas 95.

Gunman heavily-armed attacked the vehicle of the judge in charge of the investigation on the assassination of President Jovenel Moise Thursday night, according to news reports.

Judge Orelien was not harmed however, he regarded this as a threat on his life.

A human rights organization in Haiti released information saying that the kidnapping of the pastor is Vengeance on behalf of Justice minister Liszt Quitel.

Key suspect in assassination of Haiti President Jovenel Moise arrested in Jamaica

Haiti most wanted poster for Mario Palacios Palacios - wanted for the murder of President Jovenel Moise

One of the key suspects involved in the assassination of Haiti president Jovenel Moise has been arrested and detained in Jamaica.

Ex Columbian military officer Mario Antonio Palacios Palacios, who have been hiding since the assassination of the Haitian president, ended up in Jamaica.

Palacios was arrested by Jamaican authorities about a month ago but, according to the Miami Herald, the arrest was kept secret.

It is believed that Mario Antonio Palacios may have been the one who went into the bedroom of President Jovenel Moise and he might have been the one who pulled the trigger executing the president.

The United Nations Integrated Office in Haiti (BINUH) condemns the gun fight that too place in Champs de Mars, downtown Port-ai-Prince Haiti Sunday between the Haitian army and police.

these unfortunate incidents of Sunday February 23 left at least two dead, ten injured, property damage and led to the cancellation of the carnival celebrations in Port-au-Prince and Cap-Haitien.

The BINUH therefore calls on all sectors of national life to avoid any situation that could jeopardize the security of the Haitian population.
