President Donald Trump to meet Haiti President Jovenel Moise at Mar-a-Lago

Haitian president Jovenel Moise is flying to Florida to meet with U.S. President Donald Trump Friday, 22 March 2019, at Mar-a-Lago resort in Florida, the White House announced.

Besides Haitian president Jovenel Moise, Trump will gather with the leaders of the Bahamas, the Dominican Republic, Jamaica and Saint Lucia on Friday to reaffirm the White House's "strong friendship with and commitment to these countries, and signal the importance of the Caribbean to the hemisphere," the White House said in a statement.

Together, the leaders will also discuss Chinese economic practices in the region and the current Venezuelan leadership crisis, the white house said.
