Haiti Security - BINUH's mandate was renewed for another year until 15 July 2024
The UN Security Council hhas Extended the Mandate of United Nations Integrated Office in Haiti (BUNUH), Unanimously Adopting Resolution 2692
The Security Council extended the mandate of the United Nations Integrated Office in Haiti (BINUH) until 15 July 2024.
It stated as MINUSTAH, then it became MINUJUSTH, then BINUH, Haiti is in worse shape then ever before. They were there, they couldn't even save our president.
Ever since 16 October 2019, The United Nations continued their mission in Haiti under the acronym BINUH (Bureau intégré des Nations Unies en Haiti in French)
US Biden supports Haiti PM Ariel Henry because he made a deal
Daniel Foote, the Biden- appointed former US special envoy to Haiti, says the administration has supported Dr. Ariel Henry -- who took power as both acting prime minister and acting president after the assassination of President Jovenel Moise -- because he was willing to accept Haitian migrants who have rushed the US border.

Jean Victor Geneus replaces Claude Joseph as Minister of Foreign Affairs of Haiti
On 25 November 2021, Claude Joseph was replaced by Jean Victor Geneus as foreign minister of Haiti.
Claude Joseph who ceded the role of Prime Minister of Haiti to Ariel Henry was let go by the latter. Ariel chose Victor Geneus as his foreign minister.
Dominican president Abinader, still mad, bars Haitians from public hospitals in Dominican Republic
Dominican president Lewis Abinader continues to show his anger towards Haiti and the Haitian people. In his latest decision, he has decided to bar illegal immigrants in the Dominican Republic, mainly Haitians, from accessing public hospitals.
This is his second wave of decisions ever since foreign minister Claude Joseph made a declaration stating that both Haiti and the Dominican Republic have their own problems with banditism that they are dealing with.
President Luis Abinader gets mad, he suspends visas for Haitian students studying in the Dominican Republic
Dominican president Luis Abinader has decided to suspend the visa renewal program for Haitian students on Dominican territory to show how mad he is about a tweet from Haiti foreign minister Claude Joseph.
Just because Haitian foreign minister Claude Joseph reminded president Abinader that there are crimes happening in Dominican Republic just as they are crimes happening in Haiti, the Dominican president took it out on the poor Haitian students.
"What is being said is that there will be no automatic renewal and that must be verified because I have to protect this country," the president said at a press conference.
USA has political control of Haiti but they refused to assume administrative control
A journalist in Haiti said the United States has full control of Haiti politically; however, they refused to assume their responsibility by taking control of the country administratively.
The baby is his but he will not give her a birth certificate.
So basically, the United States is pulling all the strings and making political decisions in Haiti as bad as Haiti is right now.
After the death of President jovenel Moise, it was the United States who decided to make the interim prime minister step down for Ariel honry to assume the position. Many political analysts Haiti make that assumption.
Gangs in Haiti are controlled by politicians supported by the United States, former US ambassador with Haitian roots said
Patrick Gaspard, a former US ambassador to South Africa with Haitian roots, stated in a recent tweet that the gangs in Haiti are controlled by politicians supported by the United States.

The Biden of administration has abandoned Haiti, Florida Rep. Maria Salazar said
For months, the Biden Administration has enforced selective border policies and has shown great hypocrisy in the treatment of our Haitian brothers and sisters, Florida state representative Maria Salazar said in regards to the way Joe Biden is treating Haitians and Afro-Cuban immigrants compared to the others.
"The Biden Administration has abandoned Haiti," Salazar said.
"For months, our Haitian brothers and sisters have watched as migrants from other parts of the world have been allowed a free passage across the border. But when it was their turn for searching for freedom, this Administration trampled the rights to due process of law as they have given to many others who were crossing the border in the last seven months."

The United States supports new Haiti Moise-Jouthe government
While some political actors in Haiti are upset about the choice of Joseph Jouthe as Prime Minister, the international community, including the United States, is showing support for the new Haitian government established by president Jovenel Moise.
"The United States is ready to work with the new government of Haiti and its Prime Minister, " the American embassy said in a statement posted on Twitter Wednesday, March 4, 2020, a few hours after the inauguration ceremony. of the cabinet led by Joseph Jouthe.
