Haitian Prime Minister Henry Ceant travels to Canada for the Toronto Global Forum

Prime Minister Jean-Henry Céant left Haiti on Tuesday, December 11, 2018 for Canada for a short stay.

According to a member of his communications team, the trip of the head of government revolves around the goal of attracting investors in Haiti.

This Wednesday, early in the morning, he met with the presidents of Barclays, New York Times and Black Berry. In the evening, he was the official speaker of the Toronto Global Forum.

His speech emphasized the need for an inter-Haitian dialogue to find solutions to the country's problems, achieve stability and attract foreign investment.

Before leaving Canada Thursday, Prime Minister Ceant met with Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau.
