The Senate of the Republic of Haiti received a visit from a delegation of US Diplomats Thursday including Thomas Shannon, Counselor to U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry, and Pamela White, the US Ambassador to Haiti...

Thomas Shannon and Pamela White visit Haiti Senate

"It was a courtesy visit," Haitian Senator John Joel Joseph told the media, "they seem worried about the actual political situation in Haiti"

According to Senator Joseph, the US Delegation came to get some information about what can be done to prevent the possibility of a Haiti without a senate come the second Monday of January 2015.

They also told the senators that Secretary John Kerry himself is worried about that political situation in Haiti.
