Haiti Elections candidates Registration suffering from a SLOW start

Registration of Candidates for senators and deputes in the upcoming Haiti elections is seeing a very slow start... One of the requirements by the Electoral Council (CEP) for each political party to pre-register all their candidates online seems to be more difficult than anticipated...

KREYOL: Haiti Election - Inscription kandida yo ap trennen akoz KEP a mande tout pati politik pou pre-anregistre tout kandida sou internet... Kisa ou panse de sa?

Under this new registration requirement, each political party has to designate one administrator who will receive an login password to the CEP web site in order to have access to pre-register party candidates online.

The system is fully operational, one of the CEP directors of operations told the Haitian media. Many political parties have already registered although these parties have yet to present their candidates to the Departmental Electoral Bureaus (BED)

Some people argue that this technological step may prove difficult for these Haitian politicians who are really not up-to-date.

What do you think about that?
