Haiti Elections - CEP/BEC President Arrested in Delmas 2 for Transporting Proces Verbals

Haiti Elections UPDATE - Controversy broke out in Delmas 2 Monday when a man was spotted transporting Electoral Council (CEP) materials on a pickup truck... Before long, news broke on social Media. some say it was Proces Verbals belonging to LAVLALAS candidate Marise Nacisse being disposed of. Others said these proces verbals belonged to a candidate for Magistrat in Carrefour... None of the above was true but that didn't stop police from arresting the man and confiscating the proces verbals...

Ealy this morning, the president of the Bureau Electoral Departmental (BED) de l'Ouest called Radio Caraibes FM angry as ever denoucing the fact that it was in fact the Director of the Bureau Electoral Communal (BEC) de Carrefour who was subjected to this humiliateion while he was doing his job under full protection of article 238 of the Electoral decree law...

The CEP employee was carrying copies of proces verbals from the BED to the BEC of Carrefour when, unlucky for him, he walked right into a Manifestation...
