Government vs Opposition: Which is disrupting everyday life in Haiti?

In an evening radio program in Haiti, a journalist raised this question: Between the Haitian government trying to maintain power and the opposition trying to take power, which one is preventing the people of Haiti from living their everyday life?

This question was raised in the on the radio program "Boukante La Pawol" by host Jean Ismael Valestin Thursday October 10, 2019.

Here are some of the comments that were made after the journalist opened the phones for public opinion:

Caller: "The opposition is more mean the the government, se yon kesyon retire pyew manm mete pa m.

Caller: "Both camps are doing nothing to better the life of the people."

Caller: "Both the opposition and the government are in opposition with the country. My children cannot go to to school. It's been a year since the opposition has been asking the president to leave the country. He hasn't. it's time they let people live their lives. If you cannot send Jovenel Moise packing, Kite peyi a mache (leave the country alone)."

Caller: "Jovenel aint doing nothing for the country; however, Jovenel hasn't even left het and I can already foresee that nothing's gonna get done for the people."

Caller: "When leaders cannot sit down and dialogue among themselves, pa gen afè peyi kap regle. (Whatever their ambitions, it is not for the people)

Caller: "Jovenel is the one who is preventing the country from moving forward. He has to resign."
