Dominican delegation to meet with congressmen in Washington for discussion on Haiti

The Dominicans are on their way to Washington DC to complain about Haiti. A delegation of leaders of various Dominican political parties, representatives of the government and academics, will meet in Washington DC with various congressmen to discus the situation of the crisis in Haiti and it's impact on the Dominican Republic.

According to a Dominican government web site, The meeting in Washington is being organized and coordinated by the representative to the US House of Representatives, Adriano Espaillat and his team.

One-on-one meetings with each of the following representatives have been confirmed:

Bill Pascrell, Susan Wild, Frederica Wilson, Mario Díaz-Balart, Sheila Cherfilus-McCormick, Yvette Clarke, María Elvira Salazar, Joaquín Castro, and Maxwell Frost, as well as Senator Bob Menéndez, and to be confirmed, Senator Marco Rubio.
