We are living in a civilized world.

I understand that the citizens of two nations sharing the same island may get into troubles from time to time. However, this doesn't mean that the two nations must recur to violence to solve the issues.

Diplomacy is the tool developed by civilized people to solve their conflicts.

I think Mr. Duly is a well prepared diplomat who can do a great job on behalf of the Haitians.

The street must follow the diplomacy, and not the opposite.
