Flash: Martelly presidential cortege involved in a road collision

Simultaneous dispatches from Haitian Cap and Port-au-Prince on 19 July 2012 at 02:45PM indicates that the driver of one of the polaris Motorcade that accompagned Michel Martelly presidential convoy realized that he lost track of the presidential car. The driver of the Polaris motorcycle was speeding to catchup with Martelly's car causing the polaris motorcycle to lost control and crashed in a house leaving a six year old boy in critical condition.

Five other people in Martelly entourage were injured.

Martelly escaped injuries.

Partial ist of people that are cited on this crash are: Mario Dupuy, Rafael lubin, Stephan Vildroin, Yvon Alteon, Martelly photographer, Mr. Bruno.

Some victims were transported to various areas hospital including Hospital Scre Coueur de Milot and to Port-Au- Prince Hospital
The incident occurred while Martelly and his crew were returning to Port-au-Price After visiting the Citadelle La feriere to evaluate its structural damage.
