Since you have fairly good subjects on this blog, I agree with you sometimes.

But other times I can't resist to shake off my head in disbelief.

Social changes don't drop from the sky. They happened because of series of previous changes.

The people of America and elsewhere are obsessed with gadgets period, remember the past "automation" change?

reality shows are a byproduct of dissatisfaction with canned mindless programs.

Most "Specialist" everywhere as a group are mute when moving outside of their arena.

For instance, doctors are lost in a conversation when they are not talking about the human body and health;Lawyers are get tie tongue when they are not talking about the law.
Language priority changes for a reason, It is due to CONTRIBUTING factors, not about the number of people who speak the language.

Right now, it is America due to their "Imperialist" badge.

Really, Agent-X, you gave the educational changes in America to the Russians?

I am curious though, for what purpose?

Here I was under the illusion it was the good and hard work of Rev. Martin Luther King and the social revolts of the 1950's and 1960's here in America.

I must have my head examined too perhaps by Dr. Feel Bad because I was under the impression also that was when the new wave of the feminist movement who demand higher education and better jobs for women and of course for "minorities".

Open Admission was the norm in the late sixties for university students and it was for free. Of course, most of us know the result, education starts at 1st grade, one needs a good foundation to make it to College.

It has been tested that for any country 20% of the population should or could be college educated.

More than 20% breeds discontentment.

Those 20% en general don't serve the elite because they are psychologically and mentally armed to fight them. That was one of the main reasons Priests in the old days became priests.

The government was willing to give them a good education to the brightest men from the masses but in return they were not able to have a family or have kids. That was the price they pay. They were in bondage with the system.

For obvious reasons, education will always be a charged political issue in any country.

Those of us who are trying to educate others should be extra careful to help instead of feeding them half baked theories.

Hope you understand, I am not trying to rain on your parade but steer you in a better direction.

It seems like you are trying to do more than just entertain here which is good; In that respect I was giving you my two cents.
