Monel, the United states only ACCEPT its citizenship; but that does not mean a citizen can't have multiple citizenship elsewhere.

US will not recognize other citizenship but other countries may. E.g., I have friends who are American Citizens and are also French Citizens.

Since France recognizes multiple citizenship, it will accept the American citizenship as well, but the US will not. This is the difference.

The key word HERE is ACCEPTANCE.

An issue such as a Haitian with multiple citizenship cannot be taken lightly, an opinion loosely formulated from a public figure is not enough to condemn the president.

An affidavit with signed signatures, pictures, witnesses through a reputable notary public with raised seal is what we should be looking at. Short of it, than, it is just hear says. The dubiously faked constitution is NOT all we have. The Haitian people is all we have.
The good people is ALL Haitians, to me a Haitian is a Haitian and I don't practice exclusion.

I may have a little penchant for people who are suffering and been discriminated against.

In general I love all my people; I DO MEAN THAT. When it comes to Haitians, mrin se kaliko.

Mrin pa gen ni lenve ni lendroit.

Monel, 67.5% result is 67.5% no matter what. It could have been 1000 people who actually voted.

It does not matter.

The remaining people decided not to vote, which is also a vote in itself.

Whatever they get, they should accept with no questions ask because they let others fight their battles for them.
However, it was a political and social injustice not to have included the "Fanmi Lavalas" in the last elections.

Hopefully the "Fanmi Lavalas" will make sure that they are included in the next elections, four (4) years and four (4) months from today.

La messe est deja dite. La messe est terminee et les fidels sont renvoyes.

Point final.
