Cerca-La-Source a town situated at the Center of Haiti

Dear Mr. President:

I am an Haitian living in New York. I am from Cerca-La-Source, a town situated at twelve kilometers from the Department of Hinche.

I go to Haiti every year, but I have to stay in Port-au-Prince because the condition of the roads would not let me go any further.

In 1976 I went to Cerca-La-Source.

It took me more than 12 hours to get there from Port-au-Prince.

This year I was so happy to see that they built a beautiful highway from Port-au-Prince to Hinche.

I congratulate the person who executed that project.

It took me 4 hours to go to Cerca-La-Source from Port-au-Prince.

I was so happy to see my country and my people after almost 30 years.

It is good, but it can be better.

My question is, will you be able to fix the road from Hinche to Cerca-la-Source.

I would like you to add this to your projects' list. During your campaign, I have heard you talk about decentralization.

Building roads will be one of the ways to make it happen.

Once there is infrastructure, people will be able to commute.

Once there is transportation, businesses and activities within the cities will come at ease. I would like to see children leave Cerca-la-Source in the morning to go to Hinche to attend school and come back home to sleep.

Let's work on that project.
