Is this supposed to be a joke?

"Amnesty International Vs Duvalier",on September 22nd, really?

Ah, people, have not we tried this topic before, and it was put to rest under the assumption that his statute of limitations for prosecution was over?

Did we discover any new?

Look, I am no fan of the Duvaliers.

I do understand that they have committed immeasurable atrocities against my people...Jean Claude himself was not as bad as his dad. Jean Claude was the one who initiated more press freedom for Haiti after his dad died. Haitians were breathing somewhat easier under his reign.

O.K., I hear you saying, Yeah, so what?

small consolation, after he left the Country with almost all the national funds, leaving Haiti in the brink of bankruptcy.

Fine, tell me any presidents, so far, who has not done the same?

In that case, let us bring all the living ones to trial.

Is this a ruse to make Jean Claude look like a martyr?

Or Is this a decoy to push us astray from the new budget funds?

In any case, I believe we should be keenly focus on fund disbursements allocation for National education, health care, permanent housing for the displaced people, agriculture, and other types of job creation for the Country.

Martelly is no Mandela and William J. Clinton is no Ghandi or Mother Theresa.

This guy Conille, Was not his father part of the old Duvalierist regime, and part of the Roger Lafontant makout clique?

I am suspicious of any persons with a Medical degree who ended up in politics
(we need medical doctors so badly),Conille also has a graduate degree in public health From USA is is under the tutelage of an ex-president of the USA. Why does that resonate so familiar?

Let us hope that I am wrong.

Let us hope that Martelly knows what he is doing.

In the mean time, Amnesty International, If you truly want to help, why don't you go after the guys who dumped sewage in our rivers?

They have caused us so much pain and miseries.
