I hate to say it but President Martelly has gone about this free education issue the wrong way. He must have forgotten that not everybody was his supporter.

Especially in the Diaspora, where a bunch of people really did not wish to see him elected, to piss them off more, he placed a fee on every call and money transfer towards Haiti.

I think the Diaspora alone could have support his idea of free education only if he was to present his proposal in better form. With The approval of Haiti's Parliament.
