Hello Ken, It has been a while since i was moved to answer...

Ronald Altieri - August 6 2011, 8:27 PM

Hello Ken,

It has been a while since i was moved to answer someone on this screen, but here we are. Let's us look at the points you brought up:

1 - You said you are Amazed/Stunned.

REPLY: Amazed/Stunned about what?

About the situation in our country, about my thoughts.

Well! Thank you for being amazed, but i did not intend to stun you.

2 - You said that I dont know much about a parliamentary system.

REPLY: Ok, well, take sometime and educate me, i love learning.

We are here on this screen to try to stimulate each other's mind to better thoughts.

Educate me and our readers about the concept of a parliamentary system.

Is there one in Haiti?

And, if there is what is its purpose in relation to the hardships of the people and of the nation?

Excuse the sarcasm there.

3 - You suggested that i look a little deeper and realize that Mr martelly is the one building the barriers.

REPLY: He is building the barriers to what?

Are you saying that there were no barriers before Jan 12th of 2010, or are you saying that everything was fine with the country until Mr. Martelly came along?

What exactly are you trying to say, spit it out!

4 - You said that you think calling someone a terrorist just because they disagree with an arrogant, talkative and incompetent president is not the way to go. Indeed, it is foolish, Papa doc Duvalier use the call his political adversaries Kamokin.

REPLY: I am glad that you think that, but that you are not certain and only thinking that while i see no convinction with that thought in your mind. Clearly it does not seem that you are yet convinced that is your absolute point of view. Anyway, our family and friends can disagree with us, but we would not go around calling them terrorist.

But what are these 16 senators agreeing to disagree with, which make them worthy of being thought of as terrorists, do you know?

Let me help you, they are agreeing to keeping the country swimming in mud; they are agreeing to keeping a foreign occupying force well paid, while our young men who would like to help with the security of our nation eat dust; they are agreeing to making sure that the country keeps on eating misery and drinking depression - my sisters and brothers as well as yours.

Are they disagreeing with Mr. Martelly or are they agreeing to keep Haiti in the sewer of their minds?

You also mentioned that Mr. Martelly is arrogant, talkative and incompetent.

I suppose you would rather be led by the ones that are not arrogant, talkative and incompetent.

They have done so much for Haiti in our parliamentary system, over the years, of which you and senator lambert and his senatorial gang members know so much about.

And as to what Papa Doc used to call his political adversaries - let me just say one thing and get this clearly: WE ARE IN THE YEAR 2011, AND IN THIS TIME THERE SHOULD NOT BE ANY POLITIOCAL ADVERSARIES OP POLITICAL OPPOSITION IN HAITI, THE OPPOSITION SHOULD ONLY BE AGAINST THE MISERY OF THE COUNTRY AND ITS PEOPLE AND NOT AGAINST A PRESIDENT.

Educate us, the political party INITE, of which these 16 senators belong to, are united for what and against what?

5 - You said that Mr. Martelly is following the wrong examples and that the approach should be one of that is Pro-Haiti and not Pro-Martelly.

REPLY: Think about that one, because the reason why Mr. Martelly is the President of the Republic is not because he used to show parliament his ass, but it is because the popular vote think of him as being Pro-Haiti.

I am going to share a secret with you, he was Pro-Haiti way before his political campaign, and his Rose et Blanc foundation is just a perfect example of that. Tell us what has any of those 16 Inite senators done for the country that shows that they are Pro-Haiti?

Tell us.

6 - You said that you would remind me that the president wear his pants like everyone else. He put them on ONE LEG AT A TIME. As long this is true, he needs to work with everyone and listen to the other side. I am not holding my breath because you have to be wise, smart and patient to do these thing.

REPLY: Thank you for letting us know that he does jump into his pants with both legs. Thank you for letting us know that he needs to listen.

But he should not have to listen to another side - why did i say this. I said that, because there is only onse side in Haiti, and it is the side of progress.

And, if the so-called other side was for progress then prove it by pointing what they have done before January 12th of 2010 or any other time. I can only think of some freedom of speech and of the press as being something that came out the last 25 years in Haiti.

Rape was not considered a crime until a couple years ago, and none of the women consitutionalist scholars have ever visited that with some serious laws. I can go on and on, but i believe there is enough here to tickle your mind as you lay down tonight with your conscience on your pillow.

But trust me, there is more where that comes from.

7 - You ask if I think president Martelly is Wise or patient.

REPLY: I am not qualified to make that judgement, but he became President in the midst of 18 other candidates who were wise and probably more patient.

I say let us be wise and patient and support him to get the country moving forward, and after that you can call him arrogant, talkative, incompetent, foolish and impatient.

8 - You said not to hold my breath dude.

REPLY: Let us forget about Mr. Martelly for a moment, and reach for each other's mind over and through this screen and see clearly that it would be better for these senators to rally behind the President who is the choice of the people; who is the Chief of the Executive Power Branch of the government; whereas, they are the choice of their respective communities and should help the country to move by supporting their President.

Ken, that is not a moronic thought nor is it simply a Pro-Martelly thought or one against the group 16 - it is simply a PRO-HAITI thought.

I believe i am older than you, so please allow me to say: REMEMBER THAT REALITY STARTS WITH THOUGHT, AND A THOUGHT IS ROOTED IN THE MIND. BE MINDFUL WHAT YOU THINK OF.

With loving respect,
Ronald Altieri
