While i may forced to agree with you, i would also like to remind you that there are 2 kinds of people in this world: Those who talk, and those who take action.

Sometimes we wind up killing an entire generation by seating and watch, when we could have taken action.

I used to be so proud to be Haitian (which i forever will be), i decided that i would never become a U.S. Citizen even though i was already serving in the Military for 5 years and counting.

Until one morning in 2004, i was listening to the news on my way to the Pentagon, of the genocide in Darfur.

As tears started to streak down my face, i decided to ask for orders to Africa on a mission to Darfur.

The only problem was, i couldn't get any security clearance because i wasn't a U.S. Citizen.

So i decided right then that nothing was going to stop me...Four months later, i became a Citizen, and was on my way to do my part as a Human being. The same goes when i received a letter from an Admiral at the Pentagon, asking me if i would be interested to on a mission in Haiti in '04 when Aristide and his gangsters were terrorizing the country.

I did accept that as well, until 48hrs later they told me that mission was aborted because Aristide decided to leave on his own. Like you said, my friend, there's no glory in killing one another.

And no one made me the judge of anything...However, ever since i was a child i always pray God to give the strength to help those in need. So my kind heart may have been my curse, but i wouldn't want it any other way...
