My father made sure I learned English at the "Institut Haitiano Americain" at a very early age, and he was a man ahead of his time. He had a vision, and was also fluent in Spanish.

Why do we have to wait until "6ieme secondaire" to teach our children English, and Spanish.

It is ridiculous, and we should start at the age of 2 years old when the brain is like a sponge.

I have been on three continents, and people speak English.

We should teach our children English, Spanish, and French.

We are so isolated due to this French business, and France does not care about Haiti.

It is stupid, and damn to think we are French.

Our kids should be fluent in three languages by the time they take the "bac 1", and "bac 2".

They will get to study all three languages for 14 years, and perhaps we can introduce Chinese in "6ieme secondaire".

We are living in the dark age in Haiti, and need to catch up quickly.

I do not think CARICOM is going to turn to French, but perhaps it can conducts its business like the United Nations with headphones and translations into the three languages (French, English, and Spanish).

President Martelly has a vision, but we also need to learn English and Spanish.
