At Claudette:
Is not it the whole point, that Haiti is moving away from business as usual?

No more lone rangers, because they create political corruption; Haiti will change for the better.

Meaning things will be done differently?

It seems to me like the Mayor acted like in the old days. Nothing changed so far...Let us not resign ourselves to mediocrity.

We are much better than that. Let us keep pushing for the best Haiti can be. If I follow your line of thinking clearly, for instance, if the foreign aid money just happened to "disappear", would you say then, well this is Haiti, this is the normal way things were always dealt with?

I don't expect Mr. Martelly to change everything all at once. He is not a magician.

But I expect him to have control over certain key issues that are salient to Haiti today.

The tent people is definitely one of them and nobody should have had acted without his permission.

The tent people are people like you and me and anybody else. They deserve consideration and guidance to get themselves out of this miserably condition that they are in. Besides, helping them out is for the sake of everybody in Haiti.

Haitians do have an infinite amount of patience until they starting to realize the hopelessness of the situation.

At this point you might want to watch out for those sold out machetes.

peace out.
