Jojo,

Are you one of the elite, of the army, of the Duvalierist camp?

I am curious.

What church are you talking about?

The church I am talking about is the one which helps people to have a relationship with Jesus, the one that gives whatever food and water they have to those who are thirsty and hungry, the one that invites homeless people into their shelter.

the one who prays with people who are suffering.

I believe the church is the hope of the world, certainly not evil governments or the Haitian elite whose only goal in life is to exert power and live a wealthy lifestyle at the expense of the poor. This is not only a Haitian problem but a world wide problem.

Look at the corruption in america with the CEO's and bankers.

Democracy is the best the world can invent.

But there is too much lust for power and money at the expense of the poor. If there were more real Christians in government, there would be less corruption in Haiti and elsewhere.

From my study of Aristide, I understand that he built schools, banned the brutal and corrupt army, started literacy programs, improved health care, raised the minimum wage and had companies pay taxes.

Government violence also decreased.

Tell me what other Haitian leader has ever done anything for Haiti except line their pockets with money! He was far from perfect, but he was fighting the external foreign powers, the internal Haitian elite, the Convergence Democratique (what a joke!) and the corrupt police officers who were former army personnel who hated him for banning the army. I have read your history and it is filled with evil.

I believe the devil personified appears to be the foreign imperialistic governments, the Haitian elite, murderers e like Toto Constant (in jail in the US for fraud?), Guy Philippe (wanted on drug charges?), J. Chamberlain and the like. These are the personification of evil that keep your country poor. I suggest you do some reading of Haitian history for the facts.

We'll see what Martelly will do. My guess is he will do very little for the people of Haiti.

You do know that the election was a fraud as the whole world knows?

Let's see if he is or isn't a puppet of the foreigners and the elite.

With unemployment so high in Haiti, with such a long history of brutality and subjugation by both Haitian dictators and foreign interference, with the hope of Aristide's presidency long gone, what do you expect of the Haitian poor?

Those who have the guns and money run Haiti and you know that for the truth.

I am not sure what you mean that the Haitians have to change their mentality by force?

Do you mean by their own willpower?

After a history of brutality, unemployment, murder, rape, earthquake, fraudulent elections, the kidnapping of Aristide, lack of survival wages, lack of social services, lack of education, foreign intervention, you call the people of Haiti lazy?

I don't think I am the one not living in the real world?

Where are you living Jojo?

Tell me. I'd like to know your living standards in comparison to the majority of Haitians.

Any way, I enjoy to hear what you have to say. Have a great day wherever you are. God bless Haiti!
