This is ignorant news media propaganda.

Those of us who have been watching Haiti politics for a while (me only a year or so), saw massive relevant qualifications by Martelly and several other candidates, including some which the CEP rejected from being allowed to participate in the election.

I can e-mail people my notes showing some of this, or you can do your own research.

It is not President Martelly fault that the CEP has taken certain actions.

However, the newly elected can now take responsibility to reform CEP for future elections.

It is not President Martelly fault that Haiti is highly dependent on the international community, or that various nations have meddled greatly in Haitian affairs.

However, the newly elected can now take responsibility to try to get the international community to have better relations with Haiti future.

During the time of Aristide rule, there was much hostility towards President Aristide, where there will have been video tapes of stuff people said, which can be played years later, when those people now have very different position regarding past Presidents.
