i think it can be a good idea. but he also has to understand that it cost a lot of money to maintain a military.

i think there is a lot of more important things to be done first the country just experienced a devastating earthquake, i suggest he takes care of the bigger issues then he could think about reinstating the military
according to a previous article i read here, he is also trying to provide free public education and 1 of the ways in which he's going to get the money is by taxing people sending money to the haiti that tells us that the country does not have the fund necessary to provide free education.

investing in he military is a good idea but it should not be done until after the counry is starting to get back on track.
