Very well put and said! I couldn't have uttered it any better.

I am extremely puzzled as to why so many Haitians are prone to be in awe with intellectuals as if they are the only solutions to our problems.

Have they not learned anything from the past?

In regard to the original topic of this discussion board: "Tell 'em Tiba! The official language of Haiti should be Creole.".Creole is one of the official languages of Haiti.

Aristide passed it into law during his second term in office.

It used to be French only prior to that. Likewise, whoever made the Japanese/Jewish analogy to Haitians, please try another example.

Japan and Israel were never colonized by the French.

If you want to make a fair comparison, try other islands such as Martinique, St. Lucia etc.
