I thought that Mr. Aristide in his speech was going to endorse one of the candidates.

I believe that had he done so, this would have decided who wins or who loses.

He made mention of his party, and that it is the most organized and cohesive.

Maybe, the man wants to keep neutrality and enhance his prospect at another election.
