Disney World is where most people, often, take their children and family to catch a breather from the humdrum or whatever in the existence in their lives.

Unfortunately for Haiti, Jamaica, Dominican Republic, Virgin Islands and other Caribbean islands are the places that most people travel to in the Caribbean in order to take a breather from the boredom of their lives.

Haiti is not Disney World, but let us hope that one day Haiti will be the place in the Caribbean that most people, including Haitians, will choose to visit instead of Disney World.

I, for one, who is of Haitian descendant find Haiti to be a very beautiful place with its vibrant art and tasty cuisine.

I visited Haiti in 1963, 1975, 1988 and 2007. All i want to say about my trips is simply this, let us hope that Michel Martelly will spark tbe imagination of the youth with his vision for Haiti.

Some are talking and some are doing.

C'est la vie!
