If Mr. Jean Bertrand Aristide is truly a statesman and meant what he said; "I will return to Haiti to the field I know best: Education"; then, he will put Haiti's safety first, and allow the election to take place peacefully and a new president inaugurated in the country.

Thus, by so doing, he will not interfere with the country's fragile stance with the international donor agencies.

He must know that any political upheaval will retard the progress that may be accomplished.

However, if is hell bent in doing otherwise, then, he is what the critics portrayed him to be.
